Konbanwa Minna!
Dikibo desu.
I'm from Houston, Texas and I'm excited to finally be in this course. I remember in my childhood, wow I'm getting old, and friend introduced me to manga. Since then I been hooked on it because it's more exciting to read to comic than to watch it for some reason. Only recently I started watching anime. Some of my favorite series are Inuyasha, Naruto, Ranma 1/2 and the list goes on. I would like to watch a drama but I haven't found decent site with working links.
Manga and anime aside, I am somewhat of a history buff. I find the concept of bushido fascinating. As a fellow swordwoman, I have upmost respect for the way of the samurai. I would also like to try kendo. It's a dream of mine to go to Japan one day. This is class is the first step in reaching that goal.
アニメ(anime)と マンガ(manga)が すきですか?(do you like~?)
ReplyDeleteYay, InuYasha! I can suggest plenty of sites and good drama series for you! And yes, a sushi run sounds great.
ReplyDeleteYou're a swordsman, you say?
A lot my friends do Kendo! Do it! Kick some ass! And even though I'm not too familiar with the Japanese history I find "bushido" really appealing.
ReplyDeleteOh wow I'm from Houston too! Naruto is awesome, but I read the manga more. I do not know where to read it anymore though because scanlations have been banned.
ReplyDeleteAHHH OMG I love all three of those! Inuyasha, Naruto and Ranma 1/2 are literally my three favorite animes. I think it's awesome you're a swordswoman too, that's incredible. I've always wanted to do something like that. I think it would be really interesting to study that aspect of Japanese culture and history because I'm really fascinated by those sorts of things.
